AKC Puppy Health Guarantee
Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours after the delivery time for a complete physical examination. If within 72 hours from the time you, the buyer, take possession of the puppy, it is found by a licensed veterinarian not to be in good health, I, the breeder, agree to refund the purchase price upon return of the puppy to me. I, the breeder, am not responsible for any expenses incurred. A refund will be given only upon receipt of the report from a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy is guaranteed to be free from congenital defects for 1 year from the date of birth.
If your puppy is found to have congenital defects, you may return it to me, the breeder, at your, the buyer’s, expense with a written statement from a licensed veterinarian for a new puppy. I, the breeder am not responsible for any veterinarian bills you may acquire as the buyer.
Your puppy has been on a vaccination and de-worming schedule here. Please take the shot record I provide to your veterinarian. It is very important to continue the vaccinations and worming schedule to your puppy and you will need yearly vaccinations for the life of the dog.
You, the buyer, agree to take good care of the puppy and to provide adequate food, water, housing, and medical care. The buyer agrees to follow the breeder’s recommendations regarding feeding, training, exercise and general care. Please remember puppies are babies too! They need plenty of rest, daily fresh water, food, a warm and dry place to sleep, regular exercise and plenty of tender loving care from you.
In the event that the dog is later sold, or otherwise transferred from the possession of the buyer, for whatever reason, the seller will have the absolute right of first refusal to repurchase the dog for a sum not to exceed the original purchase price.
You, the buyer, agrees to love the puppy whole-heartedly and does hereby agree to hold the health and safety of the puppy in highest regard.
The buyer and the seller agree that this is the full and complete agreement that exists between the parties for the sale of this dog. Any agreements made prior to this are considered incorporated herein and any modifications made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective.

3. This pup/dog is sold with an application for registration with AKC and at the time of sale, pup/dog is fully eligible for registration. If at any time due to circumstances beyond breeders control (actions of others) AKC papers are suspended, this Breeder cannot be held responsible.
4. Buyer is to have the pup/dog examined by a certified vet within 72 hours from purchase at cost to the buyer. If any life threatening condition is found, Buyer may return puppy with report from a licensed vet within 96 hours. If our vet confirms condition, a full refund will be given or pup will be replaced with another pup of same sex and equal value when one is available. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses. Some allowance of return time will be given if the pup/dog was shipped and weather conditions prohibit the pup/dog from being shipped back. If Buyer elects not to have examination, guarantee is void.
5. Any further guarantee is done on a case by case basis.
6. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, temperament, and appearance of the pup/dog upon possession, although we breed for temperament, health, and quality.
7. Any dog/pup that is shipped will have a full health exam by a veterinarian including but not limited to checking bites, testicles and fecal exam.
8. Buyer certifies this puppy is not for resale and that said puppy will never be place in an animal shelter or used for experimental purposes, and that this pup will never be tied up or chained. Buyer agrees to notify Magnolia Dachshunds if he or she is unable to care for or keep the dog at any time of its life. Magnolia Dachshunds is to be given the first option to take the dog back or find it a good home. No money will be refunded.
9. Purchase and sale of this dog shall fall under the jurisdiction of the laws of Knox County, TN and matters shall be dealt with as per the laws governing this location. If litigation finds in favor of Breeder/Seller, Buyer shall be responsible for Breeder’s attorney’s fees, expenses and all court costs.
10. Under no circumstances is Breeder/Seller to be held responsible for medical services once Buyer takes possession of pup.
